Beware JayTS!

I read over all of jayts posts and i do not see where he is out any other money then the 600 in cash he claims was stolen he never said he was out anything on paypal and from what I understand it was sent to his account, so to send him back his money wouldnt put him out anything. This all seems fishy to me.

He said the guy stole $600 from his house. So $600 from his house and the $600 he paid back to the TC.

Petro is correct. $600 went into the paypal account and $600 was stolen from the paypal account. That nets to $0. Then he refunded the buyer $600. Therefore, He's out $600 as a result of this series of events.

I know Jason and know that there is no way he was involved with intentionally screwing someone out of $$. It does not surprise me one bit that he paid the buyer the $600 back and it sucks that he is now out that money himself but thats the kind of guy he is. I hope all who were so eager to bash him earlier in this thread take a second to understand what he did here, I know some people would have done the same thing but many others would not and I don't think it was Jason's obligation to do this even though his name and his reputation were on the line. However since he did "do the right thing" and "make it right" there should be no questioning his character and reputation.

yeah but the "tc" sent him $600 in the first place so jayts isnt out that money he just gave it back

The guy stole $600 from Jason and also took the $600 out of his paypal account. I dont know the specifics but what part of this is hard to understand. The guy says hes out $1200, why on earth would he make that up. I know him personally and know there is no way he is making this up, if he says hes out $1200, hes out $1200.

Ummm, did you read his first two replies? Not a "hey sorry lets work this out" or anything. Actually it was the opposite. He did make things right but it should have never gone this far. Blocking phone calls and communication is total BS on his part.

Let me ask you this, do you think if this topic wasn't created he would have got his money back?

Where does it say he took money out of his paypal??? maybe the fear of losing customers made him make this better he tried to delete the thread that listed the item in the first place. I hope that this story is true and jayts isnt a bad guy its good your making this better I hope it works out for everyone. If you knew this Dave guy was so bad why did you let him stay in your house and have cash around?

I just put it into perspective. Imagine someone messaging you asking where a cue was they purchased and you have no clue what they are talking about and now are responsible for paying back money that someone else stole using your account on here, it sucks.

His first two replies basically said that this guy used his name and accounts to rob the original poster. I equate it to identity theft. If someone steals your credit card and then uses it somewhere to purchase something, you normally aren't held liable for the purchase. Jason is being held liable here and I somewhat understand why but I also understand from his point of how hes the one thats being screwed here big time. He made it right to clear his name and reputation and I know that is more important to him than the $600, but hes a victim here too. In fact he is the only victim now that hes reimbursed the original poster.

Exactly right, and then on top of it your name is being smeared in the mud for it as well. In the end he chose to reimburse the original poster and become the only victim here yet others are still taking shots at him because apparently he didn't do it quickly enough. Again if I were in his shoes I don't know how I would have reacted and sometimes it takes time to understand what all happened before making a logical decision.

Newsharkster...just throwing out a hypothetical...lets say your in Jason's shoes and you learn that David King lived recently in the north carolina area. The buyer of the cue is also from north carolina. And the cue sold at a pretty good price considering it was a Pechauer used. Would that put you on the stall some and make you wonder if you werent getting moved on twice, first by king and then by the buyer? Could it have been possible they were in cahoots from the getgo? Im not saying this is the case at all, what im really getting at is that alot of times it takes a bit to work things out when your the one who will end up 1200 loser and everyone else is whole or better.

In the end all that matters is that the original poster of this thread is paid. end of story in terms of conspiracy theories. Jason is stuck 1200 and King fukked him over royally.

You is no lookie smarterer.

You should probably stop commenting in this thread. It would be pretty awful if what afflicted you was contagious.

If some one stole 600 cash and 600 on your paypal wouldnt you say he stole $1200 I dont read that anywhere from jayts and I dont see where it says he took the money from his paypal, Why wouldnt he have taken more from paypal? I dont use it but doesnt it use your credit card or bank acct why didnt he take more?

Big Picture...

I just want to re-iterate what has already been said a couple times and that is that Jason is about as stand up of a guy as you can find in any community and especially in the pool community. I've had the pleasure of knowing Jason for several years and have always had nothing but respect for him as a player and a person... I think his actions have more than confirmed his level of character...

That being said, here's a video of me shooting David King's nuts in... enjoy

The problem is that Jason provided King access to his PC. IMO that does make him liable. We can all have a opinion on this and that is fine. I am glad this has been resolved with the TC. I am not trying to be a total jerk (although that does come naturally with me).

I know some forums and they specifically say that if somebody else uses your account you are held accountable for anything they post. In my mind this is the same thing.
