Sorry for your funky trade Marky . I will step in after reading the entire post and state Eraj is a class Dealer, seller and trader. I have done numerous transactions with Geo since meeting him here when I first became a member. I was nervous on my first transaction....and it was a decent size trade.

Giovanni made sure that we both felt good about the deal as I had no itrader and just appeared here and I did not know him or how AZ worked. He was in NY I was in SF.

He set up a live video call with his trade cues to inspect/roll for me to see. He did not have to do that but he knew I was uneasy and took his time. The video call made me feel so much more at ease.

Eraj proposed a similar deal to Marks and Billys proposed transaction but 'same day same time ship' Which we pulled off with receipt pictures within 1 minute of one another. We both did what we promised, I got the cues, Giovanni got the case and we both were very pleased.

In the last 2 years I have bought and received other custom cues that arrived safe and in better condition than described from Giovanni and hope we can do business down the road.

Shame that he got stuck trying to help out with this jacked up deal. Probably allot more careful with his references if asked in the future. Bummer.

Again, sorry to OP for a jacked up deal and taking the hit on $hipping. Not quite right.

Thanks for the reassurance Kat! I do NOT doubt one bit Eraj's reputation nor his character. It's Billy & the stunt that he pulled on me is what really ticked me off.

Just trying hard to give you $60 worth of entertainment. We are up to $1.38 by my calculations.

After reading this I think the two parties just had a misunderstanding of terms and overly mistrusted each other.

Here are the facts as I see them. They threw terms for shipping ideas back and forth and then after coming to some sort of agreement Marky Mark shipped the cue Thursday and said Billy would get it Friday. Billy at a little after noon on Friday found out it and been shipped and was supposed to get it that afternoon. He promised to ship his part that night after he gets off work.

I do not see how Billy could ship that late unless his post office stays open later than mine, but it does show that Marky Mark shipped a day earlier than he expected Billy to. So the agreed on or understood terms were not the same as offered initially. That afternoon Billy does not receive the package by the time he gets off work and does not ship the items he promised as he now thinks something is amiss.

It looks like DHL being late on the delivery caused more mistrust than what was already there and Billy got cold feet. I think from reading this that both parties had good intentions, but felt mistrust for each other. But the final blame for this falling through would be DHL failing to deliver as was promised to Billy. Which led Billy to not ship his items, which made Marky Mark get cold feet also and cancel delivery.

I normally don't get involved in these things either and I hope you two will just move on and not hold hard feelings. It really does look like lack of communication about DHL being late caused this.

wow! My bad! You are absolutely in the right here. I read the whole of the texts somehow I allowed that line to not register. I'm actually a bit embarrassed now, usually why I wouldn't get involved. Carry on.
