Beware of ZN418 AKA Zack Pooler

Fellow AZers beware of dealing with ZN418 Zack Pooler. On Nov. 18 payment was sent to ZN418 for an instroke 2x2 leather case. Initially Zack responded to PMs and/or emails & he apologized for the delay in shipping. Then the story changed to he had his brother ship the case and more than 2 weeks have passed and you guessed it......still no case and ZN418 AKA Zack Pooler
ceased responding to PMs(mailbox full), emails and phone calls. NOTE: My thought was that it was safe to conduct this transaction based on his 19 itrader rating:confused: MY MISTAKE. I hope that this keeps other honest AZers from getting robbed by ZN418 Zack Pooler
 
Yeah, this stuff is really getting ridiculous.......this place needs its own sub-forum here for these kind of warning posts.

My list of "Do Not Deal Withs" keeps growing and growing....

Maybe the Mayans were right.....12/21 is the date, it's just that AZ's Wanted For Sale section is going to self-destruct.

No problem, just dispute your credit card payment you made to Paypal and it will be like it never happened.
 
This just sucks.. This makes 2 guys I have had dealings with that went smoothly in the last few weeks only to have someone else not be so fortunate.. Good luck to you guys, hope all turns out well.
 
I'm SO glad I buy most of my cues from Dean (deanoc). As anyone who ever dealt with him knows, he'll not only give you an amazing price, but half the time he'll ship and say "Pay me when you can" to people he's dealt with before. If only all of us were more like Dean we'd have ZERO problems here.

This stuff makes me sick when I read about it. I've been fortunate I've done deals with 64 different AZers in the past few years and only had trouble once. Dispute your deal with Paypal and you may be able to recover your money. I always request tracking info. so if the item doesn't show up in 4 days. I will send a dispute to Paypal because most banks take 4-5 days for money transfer out of your Paypal account into your bank account. If the item shows up after that you can always send the money again. Good luck with your deal, I hope everything works out.

PayPal claim is filed but there is a one week delay for the offending party(ZN418) to respond. NOTE: payment was from PayPal Balance not a credit card
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll keep you posted on the results
 
This is unfortunate for the buyer I hope it gets resolved soon, the other side effect of this crap is it makes it harder for the occasional seller like myself to find buyers.
Fortunately my last sale was to a very good and trusting buyer and all went well, I'm up to 3 :grin:
 
Sadly bad deals are becoming way too common here. I sold a cue locally recently because I did not wish to go through all the BS here at AZ to sell it. I get the fact that lots of good deals happen but just could not bring myself to take the chance of ending up in a nightmare transaction. For me the buyer was a local dealer, I gave him something he should easily make some money on and was happy not to have to hope it did not get damaged or lost in shipping. Or stolen by shippers or "buyers" or worry if it hit a ton, was ever used or any of the other million and one issues that can and do seem to arise when you sell on AZ. JMO!!!

Next time, just fund the payment with your credit card. Then you could have disputed the payment with your credit card company and you'd be all done.

UPDATE: PayPal ruled in my favor and refunded my payment Thanks AZers who made helpful suggestions. Happy New Year:)
