well from the way i see it ken started with one set of cues and ended up getting scammed for some other cues with all sorts of missed deadlines in between. what would you have done after the first failed interaction? im sorry but after the first time ... im not chancing 18k ..

sorry but im not working with a cue manufacturer that wont accept half up font and half on completion or with a payment when my name comes up on a list (or some other reasonable agreement... definitely wont be one sided) and some sort of proof of work in progress. ...

Yes, there is. Below is a screen shot of an email Tonkin sent me on 8/31 promising to ship me Ken Peter’s allegedly completed cue on Monday, 9/4, which was Labor Day. I replied and asked him to ship it yesterday for delivery today, Thursday, 9/6. Naturally he failed to ship and I have not received the cue. Another broken promise by a breacher and fraudster.

I’m happy to report that Ken Peters’s cue was delivered to my office today and his saga is over. The cue is extraordinary and perfect in every respect. Ken wants to sell it and has asked me to do that for him. This matter has been resolved to Ken’s satisfaction.

The matter with this cue and buyer may be resolved but there is no bringing back reputation. If there had been no legal action would this have ever been resolved? OP may have the cue now but this is in no way made "right".

No one makes cues so big that they can get away with behaving in this manner. No one.

Today Ken Peters met with Lieutenant Benko of the Shaler Police Department and started Police Report Number 2023-05826. I pray that law enforcement issues a criminal summons to Tonkin. I think this is the only way Ken will get the $18,000 back that Tonkin defrauded him out of.

I don't think that will be any help. It sounds like a civil suit. Sue him.
