Anybody have pics of a big pin flat faced steel joint Gus, or know whether he made any? Thanks.

i owned at least one,i remember it had boxes in the forearm or something

maybe barbells

maybe i don't remember that well
but i had one,maybe 2

Was the collar shorter than his typical piloted joint, if you can remember? Thanks.

i can not remember, i think it was a maple cue with ebony boxes

it was over 10 years ago,if it is posted i will recognize it

Here are some pretty bad pics. Trying to get more detailed ones from the owner, particularly of the joint. Doubt it is a gus but is an interesting older cue. Looks like a 6 point Spain blank. Ringwork looks interesting compared to Kenny's pic! Any other thoughts as to what kind of cue this might be? Thinking it may be an early Joss/JW, Espiritu, or Gilbert?

Scott, that is indeed a 6-point Spain blank. I think that may be another Guffey, or someone along those lines, not the others you mentioned.

Def. not a Gus.

Thanks Sean. Compared to the Guffey I have, this one seems to have a much longer pin. We'll see. I will have to offer based on it being unknown and needing a refinish. Hope it works out. I'll take much better pics if I get it. Cheers.

Seems like you had them all.
From the father (Gus), to the son (Barry), and knowing you there will be something special from the grandson (Jimmy).
But this one was built specifically for you by Barry - one of a few!
It is a beauty for sure.
