I bet you looked damned cool in that low rider Adam;)

Biggest score, $2500 playing 9-ball.

Biggest Loss, 3 days later, my Lincoln Mark VII being "suspiciously" burned to the ground in the pool room parking lot.

Never have gambled much since.

I won 20K starting out playing for 20 dollors a game 9ball. Of coarse considerbly raised the bet often. Got stiffed for 7K though.

It wasn't my biggest score but it was kind of strange.

At Cassidy's in Houston, 1986, I started playing this guy, who I'd never seen before, a $50 9 ball set. Won it. Jacked it to a $100 a set. Win two sets and the guy is busted.

Says he out of money but will play me for his car for a chance to get even.
I think,"WTF, this guy can't be serious!" He is and we go outside and look at his car. A nice little Honda Civic and he has the title!

I have him sign the title and the house man holds it, the keys and my cash. A race to 10, 9 ball.

It was over in about 45 minutes. I won 10-1. I called a neighbor to come down and help me take it home.

Strange thing was the guy never got upset.

I threw the guy a $50 for bus fare and when I left he was back in action with the bus fare.

Drove that car for about 3 yrs. into the rougher parts of Houston and lent it to pool playing friends who'd lost their rides. It was a great car.

Never saw the guy again.

All right, I'll bite. My biggest pool score on my own was 14K playing thousand a game One Pocket. It took two days. I won't mention any names, but most of you would know him. I won 25K once with Keith playing, and nearly 20K once with Tang. I've never really lost any large amounts playing or betting on Pool, maybe a thousand or two is it.

In Poker, my biggest score was 42K, and my biggest losses were around two thousand. More than once I regret to say.

I once won over $8,000 playing Tonk in Dallas at Rusty's, and won $3,600 plus a Harley from a big drug dealer in Santa Barbara over 30 years ago. He hustled me to play $100 Eight Ball in a "Topless" bar. Of course I knew all about him, before I went in. As a bonus, I got one of the dancers to go home with me too.

I've made a few large scores with real estate and I get a big score from my dad(boss) every Friday but I'd say my biggest score would have to be my wife and daughter.
Also, on of my bigger losses came by shooting 3 pointers against a kid named Woo who also plays poker. I played college basketball and stroked it pretty damn good (led the conference in 3 point % one year) but this kid put me in my place to the tune of $3500 (only $500 was mine and Hager and Bartrum along with a few other also had pieces of me). Josh Arieh staked the kid and they have made a ton of money off of this particular hustle. Short asian kid that I could spot 10 in a game to 11 of one on one, but can shoot the absolute eyes out !
I've made a few six figure scores in real estate, but that doesn't count. I also lost about 75K messing with stock market futures many years ago.[/
