The only thing you try to protect is yourself and your cues by hiking up the price to an obscene amount, posting them for sale then 5 min later say nope too nice can't do it , talking trash, not knowing what u speak, acting like yor some respected Scruggs guru (false) & lastly get some new damn cues buddy the mere fact u post the same ones over and over after because of due time they are deleted "we have seen them" there is nothing cool about seeing your same cues over and over and over hear u talk about the same ole thing and how much they go up in value (in your mind)

Thanks for the response Nick. For the record, I have NO idea what much of it said because it seemed like incoherent babble riddled with misspellings. I got a headache midway through. But I assume it was meant to clarify something so... thanks?
By the way, is there any chance we can stop referring to a grown man that is over 60 as "Timmy" (or any other spelling)?? It's not like he's a schoolboy. And it would definitely minimize the chances of misspelling it.

1.Lied to Steve and told him that my MC was cracked so your little buddy could buy it. Yes. I know it was you who told him it was cracked. Someone who has only seen a picture of the cue and never seen it in person told someone my cue was cracked to submarine a deal so your friend can get the cue. I guess you are thinking that if you stay buddy-buddy with him long enough, you might get a bone thrown your way.
2.You and your buddy tried to submarine my deal with henchmen on the monster Scruggs by saying again that my cue was cracked. Guess what, I told him the same thing as I told Steve. Examine it, xray it or send it to NASA so they can run tests. I know it isnt cracked. And guess what the findings were. NOT CRACKED YOU JACKASS.
3.You tell Bob that my cue is cracked.(I have no idea just how many people you told that.)
4.I tell you I was going to buy my old J/B back from Bruce. You tell me you wouldnt buy it back if you were me. The butt is warped, the shafts that were with the cue are gone and the only shaft that is with it is a non-original shaft that is warped as well. I took you for YOUR WORD and didnt buy it. Guess what, not even a week later, you post that you just had to have it so you bought your old J/B back and how mint condition it is.
5.That butt ugly 6 veneer cue you had. You sell it to some poor soul for 2700 telling them that it cost over 3000 new. Well, since Mike made many of his and TS cues with 5 veneers as he liked the double black on the outside, you pretty much told the guy it was an extra 1100 to add 1 veneer. Talk about prison raping someone.
And if you really want to push the issue, I can bring out genealogy. But, I doubt you want that.

I will say this for you. I do believe that you know alot about Scruggs cues. Wouldnt say you are the leading authority. But you know alot. But then again, if I bugged the sh*t out of Tim and Mike with 3-5 phone calls every day trying to work angles on cues or finding out who was getting what, maybe I might know more about their stuff than I do. I talked to Mike 1 time every week to 10 days. We talked cigars, women, kids, golf, politics, vodka, cigarettes and plain old family. Rarely did we ever talk about cues. I guess that is why we bonded the way we did. I enjoyed his conversations on the phone as he did mine. I use to give him golf lessons over the phone. I wouldnt have to talk to him about cues. He sent me pics of the big ones he was making. Ask Steve, I forwarded him some pics that Mike had sent me of his box cue while it was being made. I even saw Erics cues. I knew what those were a month before they were ever done. Take care Nikki. And please let Tim enjoy his retirement. Stop calling him. I am sure he would appreciate it.

I leave for a day this thread gets even more entertaining. For the record I spent the day with Tim Scruggs and Dan Janes (pictures tomorrow just got in after driving 12 hrs today)and by the way i do not know what a katz cue is but Tim says its a katz and he built it. Enough said.

It is entertaining. If it is, it is. Dont really care. I just asked what the significance it was that would make for it to be a Katz. I am always wanting to learn more about cues, new or old. I just found it funny that someone says a cue is worth x amount of dollars because it is a converted house cue. I know I have seen nicer cues of his sell for far less. Anyway, take care all.
