At the time I didn't realize this is probably the biggest sneakie Timi ever built! Wow! I can't believe my luck.
Fancy rings at the rear.
Custom joint.

There is so much going on with the Cue it looks fake!
On top of all that it was made with a Katz house Cue! And made with a Katz shaft!
Wow. I can't believe it. It is the biggest Tim Scruggs sneakie pete and the best playing one out of all the dozens of Tim Scruggs sneakies I have owned over the decades.
I take it out alot with all the thieving going on. Haven't decided if if is to fancy a sneakie to make my player.
The full shot shows how big a sneakie it truely is! The jump break in the group picture was begged away I am sad to say I will miss it. I might have to play with my other plain old Cochrans nd Scruggs Cues though.

Was he selling the cue,No he put it up for the enjoyment of the AZ community.I for one have collected many nice cues and was posting pictures but after watching this crap have decided not to post any more. AZ's loss,and I wonder how many others feel the same? probably more than you think.

As you saw i didnt post about the cue in a negative way, i was laughing at first at others, i happen to think the cue if Tim made it is rare because its the only one like it ive ever seen, its just how its done.

Threads ago, a few people got on me saying everytime I posted a cue i said it was a monster player, they say i try to hype it which wasnt the case, every cue was a sick player how could i help that ?,dont shoot me shoot the maker for building a awesome cue and getting better and better with every one,they should go forward not take steps back..They said how is every cue a monster player, lol that was an easy thing to explain for me.I thought it was crazy for people to say what they did about that but its the internet and there will always be someone(or a group of people, mostly a click on here) that dont agree its crazy, thats why im gonna stay outta all of this from now on, i dont need the stress or waste any of my time.i just am communicating peacefully as this thread dries up hopefully for nicks sake and the cues sake as well.

If AZ collected a dollar for everytime someone says something stupid we would all owe them money, and the principals could have retired years ago. (CC-Bruce would be in hock) Thats just the way it is and it makes this place as special as a short green bus.

There is a time where a cue goes from a sneakie, to a house cue conversion and this cue crossed that line a few rings ago. Its a nice cue, a little different.

We all have people here we don't agree with, or aren't fond of. Heck, I might even have a few, buts its a cue in the gallery, enjoy the pics.

Its like an ugly go-go girl, don't look up and just give it a dollar to go away.

I never appologized about Nick. You told me that Nick was an idiot and ran his mouth too much. Then i said maybe i should take it easy on him. Then He posts this thread exaggerating the cue as he has with almost all of HIS cues that he posts for sale or for show. You stick up for him only because he's your boy. As far as being a seller i'm not. I am a respected buyer that many people send their cue to even before payment. Never a problem. I have done good deals with Nick and a couple of bad ones i don't care to mention. Don't get me wrong. I still respect the fact that You, Nick,Steve,Tony, etc. helped Connie after Mike's death. That's all the more reason for us to get along with each other. I'm all for beginning now. I'm out of this thread now!

But you have said in the past that you sell most of your cues for less than you paid for them cause you like giving people great deals on cues in a thread of yours(something you recall yes or no, I bet others here do!). The cue philanthropist of the billiard community. But by your comment, sounds like you have never lost money on a cue before. So either you lied about selling cues for a loss or you lied to the buyers about what you paid for the cues. I tend to believe that you have lied to the buyers. Nice sneaky. I have stated that before. But, a few things puzzle me. Katz was just another cue company that made cues throught the early 1900's. Not sure when when they actually stopped producing cues. This cue looks like a regular house cue. Are there any markings on it that someone would be able to say, "Yes, that is a Katz cue." If the cue is in fact a Katz, wouldnt it carry the same value or worth as say a Brunswick from the same date? If so, then wouldnt the cue, before the conversion, be worth only maybe 200 if it was in pristine condition. Considering you can pick up Titlists for 150-300 all day long, and this is just a plain mahogany or rosewood cue(As far as I can tell), 700 for the cue alone seems like a HIGH appraisal. Then there is the whole 1200 to reproduce it in addition to. Are you saying this cue would be 1900 today? Correct me if I am wrong, but that seems like it is WAY out of line for a sneaky conversion of a cue that as far as I can tell has absolutely no provinence or written authentication. The last thing that bothers me is the whole talk to Timi thing. The first time you posted pics and in your last post, you said he already confirmed all this. Now you are saying that if someone needs authenticity, you will contact him. Which is it? Have you or have you not talked to Tim about it? If you want to claim this is the BIGGEST of something, there ought to be some kind of authentication or provenance that goes with the cue. Until then, it is a sneaky that came out of the shop that some random person threw a joint and buttcap on.

Now if you tell me it is 74 inches long and the butt diamter is 6 inches, then I will agree, it is the biggest sneaky.
