We used to go to tournaments there. Did some gambling on that snooker table. :D

It was a pretty cool pool room, had a nice soda fountain with fresh coffee, sandwiches, snacks, et cetera.

It did allow smoking, which then was okay with me, but now I would not like it since I quit smoking.

The owner kept is very clean and nice. There was no alcohol, which I really liked.

One of the employees there, Rick, now owns a pool room in Dundalk, MD called Big Daddy's. It seems to be a hotspot in the Baltimore-D.C. area for pool tournaments and other happenings.

Too bad they wouldn't bet a penny there!

hahaha. Lots of us were in/ out of there.

Do a search for 'boggs' or 'legg' and you will see some of the discussions we've had about that fine dining establishment,

We got plenty of action. ;)

Heck, now that I think about it, we were the action. :D

The one you were thinking about used to rock before it became Jack and Jill's. We used to go up there at midnight because that's when the action would start. Saw lots of road players come through there, Efren Reyes, Buffalo Frank, et cetera. Pool's golden years! Linda Shea used to play out of there. It also was a great place to hang out before the horses started. Hi, ho, Pimlico! I won my biggest exacta from a tip I got at Bill and Billie's. $954. Ka-ching! Lot of horse men at Bill and Billie's. ;)

I used to go down to Bill and Billie's a while back. Got married, bought my own table and don't get out quite as much now that we have kids. I was just out in Kansas City for business earlier this week. Nice place, first time there, but have a new client so will be back again soon.

I was told many years ago that you didn't even want to set foot in the place 'less you were loaded on the hip:wink:
