What is chicago style?
where did the term come from?
By the way, that cue is gorgeous
Bill Schick was scheduled to attend a Willard's tournament in Chicago (I think at Pheasant Run) in the early 1990s.
Bill's wife came up with the idea that the points (separated by ivory chunks) would look good turned around, in the buttsleeve.
Bill and his wife developed six variations, and he took them all to Chicago where he quickly sold everything and took more orders.
The style became known as his Chicago-style after the tournament venue.
A great looking cue!
