We'll be in PR this summer. I'd like to hit up some local places to shoot pool any tips out there would be greatly appreciated as the internet is not prooving to be a place with many location outside of San Juan. Although I know there are places all over the island. I just don't remember how to get to any of them.

Loren...PM Harold Acosta here. I believe his handle is jugabillard, or something close to that. He lives in PR, and knows about everything pool down there! :grin: He might even chime in here, if he's online!

Let me know what town/area you will be staying at. Almost every bar in the small towns will have bar-tables, but there are not that many pool halls (4 or more tables) in the Island.
 
I played a bit in a hotel called 'El Castillo', near Ariecebo, if I recall correctly.

The hotel was definitely not un Castillo...and the table was awful!. but as they say, un poquito de biliar es mehor que nada!

I hope to take my family to PR someday and would love to make some time for real pool.

I always enjoy reading about the locals when they come stateside.

Nice! We typically bring the kids but this summer it's just the two of us off to paradise. Growing up we were never allowed to go near those sort of places. My goal for this summers trip is to make it back to Tampa in one piece.
