Billiard Equipment auction on AZ Billiards

I understand the point you are making. I'm sure the participants of this journey will be able to setup an equitable situation for all concerned. If the new AZ BILLIARD AUCTION becomes a carbon copy of eBay, mike will make some money. I would like to see a higher class of auction myself.

Maybe Mike can influence several or all of the Quality manufacturers of Billiard equipment to stage "little stores" on his auction site... that would be great. easy shopping for all.

One other thing... there are lots of people not on-line. Maybe Mike can strike a deal with BCN to send out flyers, with their Videos, to the Pool Halls & Players with the AZ Billiard auction site advertised.

Each of us can send Mike a list of Pool Halls in our local area, so that a concise mailing List can be worked up.

MikeinTampa, you tellum Mike. Bar Lucasi and alike cues? What kind of elitist crap is that? I happen to own a 2007 Lucasi cue and it hits as well as the Joss West I just sold for $2,200. It also hits as well as Bill Stack's "Real Original" Balabushka I played with for 12 years. So, you guys that think you have to play with a $3,000 and up "Cognoscenti" cue by Joey Gold, you are sadly mistaken.

Ceebee,

All are great ideas and anything that will help this site ( Mike ) grow I would support. I understand what you are saying about the cues for sale but I have to agree with Bill that there are probably a lot more players out there interested in buying a lesser valued cue because that is what they can afford.
By the way Bill, that is a great looking cue and I agree with the hit of a Lucasi. A friend of mine has one and it plays great.

I have stated that I understand the exclusion point. I too have owned a Lucasi & sometimes wish I still had it.

My suggestion should not have included a label. I was trying to make reference to exclude cheap stuff & I agree that LUCASI CUES aren't cheap stuff.

American Cue Makers kinda have their own market, individuals that prefer Custom Cues. The American Cue Makers make all price levels of Cues, from Sneaky Petes to top priced Works of art. I like to promote things "made in America"

eBay has a mix of Billiard equipment... cheap stuff to HIGH PRICED. I probably won't quit eBay altogether, at least for awhile, but I would like to do something for Billiards & the people that are part of it, rather than eBay...

This auction idea sounds good to me. I wouldn't start off restricting what to sell until it gets going. You can always refine that later after you test the market. Just a suggestion. I respect Ceebee because he was the one that came up with the idea in the first place. Great idea!

I am looking over different auction packages and will make a choice in the next day or so. Look for an to be added to the site sometime next week. I would like to have some items in the auction as soon as it goes up. If you want to add items to it, please drop me an email and we can get some stuff in there for when it goes live.
