Is it worth having a national day or month in USA to celebrate billiards day or billiards history month?

I am participating in a civics project at school and it lines up with my billiards interests.

Would it be worth something:: yes.
Is there any chance in H E double-hockey stick in getting one:: not for another hundred years.

Note: There is no counterpart in {baseball, football, basketball} with infinitely more players and audience members than pool. What makes you think an also-ran sport (such as pool) has any chance at all ??

US Billiard History day is more likely than Billiards in Olympics. Too much time, effort and money has been spent chasing Olympics. It is better to popularize the sport than pay to be denied entry in Olympics.

There has been so many nonsense ‘special’ days, I would think having one for billiards would be a downer.

pt…..waiting for national ‘peanut butter and banana sandwich on a kaiser’day.

How about making the 22nd century the billiards century? Gives you over 76 years to work on it and prepare it. Maybe paper cues will be the norm by then.
