Was just wondering if anyone has used billiardwarehouse.com? How was their service, shipping times, cue work, etc? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks --- Jon (two more weeks in the middle east!!!!)

I bought a J. Pechauer from them. Shaft was warped & it took
a while to replace but they did & even remained friendly while
putting up with my foul disposition. So, I would say my dealing
with them was decent. Plus, they didn't press it when I didn't
send back warped shaft.

I have dealt with them numerous times and have had nothing but great experiences with them. Greg is very knowledgeable in the business as well as a very talented pool player.

You can reach him at 888-809-POOL..

I have bought several cues (low end) from them, and have had no problems.

Dealt with them twice in the last year. Their service was excellent. I'll deal with them again.--AS

Somewhere between excellent and perfect.

Ordred a cue one day, arrived at my house 2 days later. Nothing wrong with that.

Greg is also very pleasant to deal with.

i tried to order a Jacoby from them once. I placed the order, gave all my info, recieved confirmation, and patiently began the wait for the cue to arrive. 2 days later, I recieved an email saying the cue I ordered had been sold (out from under me?)

I was not happy... especially since I had recieved confirmation. It ended up working out though, because the situation prompted me to have my own custom cue made. But i did send them a letter letting them know how dissatisfied i was.

Greg Savio is a great person to deal with. Good communication and products. AAA+ dealer.

I've bought from them on a couple of occasions. Hit one snag with the second purchase, but I emailed Greg and it was fixed immediately. Great site and I plan on buying from them again.

From what I have heard and experienced first hand, Greg is one of the best person to deal with.

Since he has a very large selection on his site, there is a chance he does not have everything listed in stock. When a customer places an order, he might have to either contact the manufacturer to drop ship the item or wait for the item to arrive and then ship it out.

I think this might be the reason behind the shipping issue. And there are things he cannot control if he has to rely on the manufacturer. For example, if a company promises him delivery on Tuesday but is three days late, then he will not receive the good until Friday, and he might not be able to ship until Monday. In which case, it is late for a week from the customer's point of view.

For someone with so many item for sale, it is very hard to expect him to have everything in stock at all times.

Greg has been in business for a few years now and he has always tried to treat his customers right. I think we need more people like him.

The reason I asked is a friend of mine is waiting for a cue to arrive. He ordered cue, case and a bunjee j/b. The j/b cue came with a speck wrap and was ordered with a solid wrap. The cue has yet to come in, but he asked to have his name put on it. I told him I'm sure it will take extra time due to this, but he seems concerned, so I thought I would ask some questions on the forum to reassure him. I would like to say thanks to all for the input and the contact information. ---- Jon (less than two weeks left in the middle east!!!)

The only time I've dealt with Billiard Warehouse was once when I bought a $1400 Longoni for just $700. Well, I never got the cue -- Greg Savoie emailed me telling they were out of stock. Go figure.

Dear Sashax415: I believe that I recall this situation. If I remember correctly, we had sold the cue you ordered but failed to take it off our inventory list. We processed your order thinking that we had the cue in inventory only to find that we had previously sold it. In that situation, we scrambled to find the cue from Jacoby or try to buy it from another supplier to get you the cue you wanted. Unfortunately, we were not able to satisfy your order. I really apologize for failing you on your order. I hope we have the opportunity to earn your business in the future.

Longoni Cues

Dear Peer,

We were not only out of stock of the cue, we had not carried longoni cues in 5 years. In the past, when we discontinued an item, we would simply remove the link from our website. We found out much later that these pages would show up under the search engines. Needless to say, I was pretty shocked when I received your order. Since I no longer had access to the cue you ordered, I had to inform you that we could not fill your order. We try to do the best we can to take care of our customers; however, we certainly have our share of blunders. When we mess up, we try very hard to make it up to our customers. I am sorry that we were unable to supply your order. Now, when an item is discontinued, we make sure that we list "discontinued" on the page before we remove the links. I'm sure there are plenty of old pages on the web with this type of problem, but it comes up much less often. Again... I am sorry that we failed you on your purchase. I hope that you will give me the opportunity to make it up to you.
