Last year was my 1st expo but i did not play. 1st time i went to an event like this with all this money games on the side. i decided that i wanted to play a $5 game table. as i went up to the table a couple of people recognized i was a filipino and suddenly they placed bets on me one had 30 and another put up 20 on me. 1st shot i took was a str8 in shot and i completely missed it and my opponent ran out on me. The thing they didnt know was that i just started playing a year and a half ago and i have never played for money.

so i just realized if people see that u r filipino do they immediately think u can play cuz from the events i been to since then it seems like people overrate me and my friends on race alone.
 
Yeah, in pool Filipinos get racially profiled. Sorry man that's what you get because someone snuck a "Mexican" name Cesar Morales in on us in 1985. :-)

im going 2 the expo this year tho and im playing in the open amatuer. i dont kno how i'll do but i have gotten better since then. i dont know what the pressure will do 2 my game tho but i hope i do well

What does a filopino look like? I need to know so I can avoid betting on them.:D

Anytime you want to bet against these guys just let me know. I hear one of them doesn't even have teeth! :eek:

And here I thought I was the only Filipino without skill (although I'm sure you've improved since then):rolleyes: :p :D . Hint: don't bet on me at VF:D !

I heard a rumor that there is another unknown guy like you described that can play a little.

I was told that his first name starts with an R and last names starts with an A. And once upon a time, he gave King Kong the 6 out and beat him. Just rumors, of course.
