Billiards always getting bad press.

Billiards had nothing to do with it, the kid was just a wack job who happened to be playing billiards.

It is a tough thing for communities to deal with, the EDP (emotionally disturbed person).

They have rights are are typically the exact type of person who will file a compalaint and perhaps a lawsuit too.

And the community's difficulties are nothing, compared to what the families go through.

Communities have resources and policies an procedures and trained responders...family? Not so much.

It’s par for the course in ALL of media. Ambulance chasing, click-bait, and garbage headlines. All one in the same.

Also notice the headlines give the impression it was little kids. But instead sons in their 20’s and 30’s.

Used to be an old adage in the TV news business...If it bleeds it leads. Still true today.

This is a sad deal. That family has been dealing with this a long time I am sure. Two things a momma and a daddy never want to do: Pick a favorite between one child over the other. Harm one of their children. Yes these boys were old but they will always be the mom and dads children to them. This combines both of those two things :frown:

I think we learn a lesson from this.

Don’t hustle your brother with your custom two piece pool cue,
Even if your dad did marry his cousin.
