With Roku you can load private channels. It would be interesting if there are private channels that are feeds out of Asia, etc., of TV channels that broadcast pool. ESPN Star Sports....
Been looking for a Eurosport feed to watch the motorcycle races.

I have an Apple TV, and Ustream was the main reason why I bought a Roku. Everything on a Roku can be controlled from a handheld remote. Its perfect for a bar or poolhall looking to show streaming matches.

You will find Ustream there. Among other things.

Roku also has a very nice remote app (IOS and Android) so no need for a remote

I use the Nowhere Man channel for Ustream

That's why I bought a chrome cast.. I can stream anything on my laptop straight to my tv. I didn't really need all the channels roku had. All I wanted to do was stream netflix and pool lol

On today's woot, they have refurbished Roku boxes from $30-$62. Roku boxes are standalone devices, and unlike Chromecast you don't need a laptop or computer.

Yes you can Ustream on Apple TV.

If you have an IOS device, Air play over from the mobile device to the ATV.

If you don't have a IOS mobile device, Download Air Parrot. It will mirror you desk top or individual program.

I consider Roku, Apple TV to be the internet equivalent of a cable box. Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime are your new premium channels. For the purpose of watching pool streams, Roku has a ustream channel. Most of the streamers congregrate using Ustream.
