I'll make a strong statement here; I'd rather not watch pool than listen to Mitch.

I"ll watch reruns of I Love freakin-Lucy before I'll watch Mitch. Well... maybe that's a little strong but I would rather not watch pool than listen to him. Sorry Mitch. :boring2:

is it just me being overly critical or is this the worst pool you have seen in a while? and we wonder why noone wants to watch it on tv. i play and this is hard to digest.

all of a sudden ESPN quit showing pool while it was in the middle of the match between fishers. They switched to some news about baseball.

they must have heard me complaining :embarrassed2:

that does stink, hopefully it is just an update and they will go back, but this has happened before. urgh! how are you Vagabond?

I was watching also, and it looks as though they're pre-empting the 2nd half of Kelly and Allison's match, for Sportscenter. That's BS...especially since this is the first run of the Great Lakes tourney on tv!

real nice

Isn't that wonderful. After 2 and a half hours of watching the matches they cut us off halfway thru the final. Bummer

Why Why Why

I was just watching the finals and it got cut off for them to run sports center.
The finals were not eve half finished before the telecast was interupted and never returned too. I think that this has happened to other pool events in the past as well. Why does ESPN do that stupid s**t?

so voice your opinion at ESPN:

of course do so with class, the last thing you want to do is make them stop showing pool altogether, but take time to let them know, if you want.

hi ,
this is what said in my message to ESPN.

"do you know how many thousands of pool players you pissed them off by abruptly stopping the final match between kelly Fisher V Aliison Fisher and showing the some nonsense on Sports center. You guys are going to pay for insulting the pool players.Do you have any clue as to the strength of the pool players and how much money they put into American economy?"

Here is my message sent to ESPN. Thanks for posting the link in order for me to be able to express my concerns.

"I am writing to express my dissapointment with your decision to interupt the finals match between Kelly Fisher vs. Allison Fisher. The show was interupted in order to show coverage of the shoving incident between two Brewers players within their dugout via sports center. The network never returned to the billiards match. Granted the telecast with probably be replayed at another date but I still find this very unfair to the billiard enthusiasts of the world. This has happened before too.

Kevin"

Maybe if more viewers send replies the network will take note and discontinue doing this to the pool and billiard telecasts.

Thanks

Kevin

glad that others decided to notify them as well. although i was not enthused with the matches, it stinks to be in the middle of one and expect it to come back and then not. people complain about these types of things, but never tell the powers that be that it is a problem. bump to the top for any that might not have responded.
