Hi Keith
I just got done reading the thread about Billy ribbing you. Don't worry I have watched many matches narrated by Bill and your not the only one he does that to! I have a question, I have read a lot of books on pool, gambling etc and from the sounds of it Billy was pretty tough to beat back in his day, This is gambling not matchplay btw. I am guessing you and him have matched up for some bigtime money in the past and I was interested in the outcome, the game, table size , amount of the bet, etc? Thanks,
P.S I never did thank you for the autographed pic you sent me, very cool pic, Thanks

Billy Incardona has the look of an old time fighter.

I sat next to Danny DiLiberto last weekend at the Florida Pro Tour and he had a running commentary when Buddy Hall was playing BJ Ussery right in front of us. Danny has a voice that carries well and Buddy did not look all that pleased. Especially when Danny would make a comment like he played that all wrong, he didn't want to do that, he should of... I mentioned that I thought Buddy was getting pissed. Danny said, me and Buddy are old time friends. And besides, he knows that I punch hard. I didn't get that until I got home and looked at a video with Danny in it and they mention that he used to be a fighter. His record was 13 - 0 - 1. Now Danny really doesn't look like a fighter. Looks can be deceiving.

And of course I didn't take it as Billy putting you down when he made his comment. Just being the color commentator.

I remember you and Billy matching up at Hardtimes for 10 dimes. I fortunately had to leave as I heard that shortly after the two of you had finished the place was held up!

I think Danny was probably joking as he and Buddy are good friends. But I do know for a fact that Danny punches hard. Crazy Bruce tried to rip some money off of Danny when Danny was supporting a family with road money in the 70's. I saw Danny knock him down with 3 short ones real quick. The guy was hurt bad.

I noticed that Buddy has been having a lot of temper fits lately though. Getting real upset with sweators and people in his periphal vision.

Fortunately for Billy, he ended up getting his money back. The robbers didn't know his money was on the overhead light.

Danny was a boxer before I was born. The first time I seen him play pool was in L.A. at the Billiard Palace. He played all games, but when I was watching him, he was always playing straight pool. We've battled a couple of times playing one-pocket and had some electrifying matches. I've always enjoyed playing Danny. He is a gentleman to play with and an asset to our sport. :)

Keith, You sure do have a stockpile of pretty good pictures. Who took them all?

That's an easy one to answer, Jake. My girlfriend enjoys her digital camera.
