Billy vs Allison and Shannon vs Danny

These two proposed match ups of Bill Incardona vs Allison Fisher and Shannon Daulton vs Danny Harriman were bantered about for a while and then we heard nothing else.

I would like to re-ignite the enthusiasm that was here when these match ups were first discussed in the hopes that enough people will "squeek enough" that somebody will "oil" the wheel and make these match ups happen.

Personally speaking, I think the Daulton vs Harriman match up has a better chance at this point of happening unless something is going on behind the scenes to convince Allison to accept Billy's challenge.

Don't these matches still excite anyone???

We got a while to go before the next U.S. Open 9 ball, the 2008 World 9 Ball Pool Championships and the 2009 Derby City Classic. I very much hope at least one of these matches take place to help us thru this relative down time in pooldom.

It could be intresting, but I'm going with Billy. He has fight in him and will not let us Guys down. He sill not be the Bobby Riggs of the pool world either. He just can't.

I can just picture Billy now. The alarm goes of at 5 AM and he throws it against the wall and sleeps until about 11AM. He rises by the carck of noon and goesstraight to hiskitchen and cracks 6 raw eggs into and old dirty glass and chugs them down. He then dons an old sweaty tshirt andhisflip flops and walksout side and does about3 laps around the parking lot. Sweating profusely hefgoesback inside and sits on the sofa and watches Dr Phil for motivation and takes a 2 hour nap. Then it's off to the pool room to play the Plumber and train. Allison has absolutely no chance!!!!!!!!!! Go Billy Go!!!!!

if you, or anyone else, knows her maybe they could give her a ring and let all of us know. i would love to watch this match up. i'm curious as to which way it would go... the proposed game is 10-ball right?

does Allison play much one-pocket?

If you have ever risen at the carck of noon you know how painful that could be!

Allison would have ZERO chance if the match up was one pocket. I'm not aware of her ever having even practiced onepocket. She could never out move Billy in 1P.

There's a better chance that Travis Trotter would switch to Meucci's than Allie beating Bill in one hole.

Yeah ...

Are you guys betting on Billy in 9 ball because of his 1 Pocket reputation, if so, I will take Allison?

That's like asking if we're betting on Richard Petty to win a 100 yard dash foot race because he drives fast.:)
That's also like saying "Are you guys betting on Allison to beat Billy in OnePocket because of her 9 ball reputation."

I can't speak for others, but of course not. That makes no sense unless someone wants to sleep in the street.

Billy slaughters her in 1P. Allison slaughters him if they were to play snooker.
9 or 10 ball is MUCH closer.

Right you are. Mr. Billiy Incardona won the last (1972) Johnston City 9 Ball Championship, which was really that year's World 9 Ball Championship.
His longevity is absolutely amazing.

After his win in 9Ball in Jhonston city ( Hustlers Jamboree), 'No saint' Billy Incardona did continue to play top notch 9 ball till late 80s.In early 90,91 & 92 he was ranked approximately around # 30 in Mens Professional Billiard Tour.Even today he can play a strong game of 9 ball.

There were many tournaments where she did not miss a shot.Besides offense she also plays perfect defense. That is why I consider her as the Diva in pool.

Bumping it to get Billy out of his couch.

I think that if someone wants to challenge Allison, they should pretty much let her pick the game and conditions, or at least offer something she is used to. We can all recognize that Billy doesn't need to play her at onepocket, for example, to know that he can beat her. If they play, I think they should play nineball on whatever table the WPBA is using right now. Not that I think Allison would have trouble adjusting to a small pocket, considering her background.
