I love this style of cue. Simple, plain, some would even say boring. But I think it's beautiful. It's a tool, it's functional, and it's beauty is derived from it's simplicity. Can't really go wrong here.

Specs:
Forearm: Exquisite Birdseye Maple
Joint: Uni-loc pin/ Antler collars
Wrap: dark brown leather
Buttsleeve: Antler buttcap with ring pack
Shafts: 12.4-12.46mm
Shafts: 4-4.25 oz
Butt weight: 14.875oz

Will weigh it later tonight. It felt on the lighter side to me.

I've always liked this style of cue as it ties back to the classic Harvey Martin/Tad type cues. If this cue were a guitar, it would be a classic Tele. No frills, just a solid workhorse.

I've never owned a uniloc jointed cue, so will post my thoughts later after playing. I've heard both good and bad things, but I don't think it will be a deal breaker on this one.

Zylr

Sometimes the wood does the talking and does not need to be dressed up. I think it looks great. Thanks for showing it off.

Awesome player, very cool with that wrap and the white joint material. I have always hated screwing quick release joints together and apart but they seemed to play fine. Play with it in good health and same for sharing the pictures.

Terrific cue to own and play with.
If I bought a Zyler cue it would have to be similar

Very nice, you don't see too many Zylers, thanks for posting

I love a simple, classy birdseye cue. Very nice. I'm still hoping to buy Eddie Cohen's Tad, but this is a very close second

Very nice. Reminds me more of Harvey Martin than anyone, as he often did joints with no collars. Nice, simple, classic design.

I'm almost positive I owned the cue before . I put a leather wrap on it and sold it .
Here's the second Zylr tribute I made . It's like the gaboon version of that one with linen wrap and 3/8 11 joint screw.
