Black Ball?

I've seen snooker videos on YouTube and I must say I'm impressed. But while perusing the different tables on PoolComps, I saw a game called Black Ball that looks like its played on a snooker table but it looks a little more similar to 8-ball (ball size, and pocket size). How do you play this dang game?

Blackball is a game derived from what is called "English Eight Ball". The latter has variable rules according to the pub you're in or the vendor of the coin-op table you're playing on. Those coin-ops typically have cue balls smaller than the object balls to allow the mechanism to return the cue on scratches.
