$82,457.12 Won't sell for that, but you asked for a number. You obviously have a number in mind. Start with that, then you won't have to worry about the crappy offers. I know nobody wants to leave money on the table, but you have to have some idea as to where you want to start with this cue if you have enough knowledge to know the exact model number.

Don't be silly. It is worth exactly $220 dollars if it is perfect. I will go $250 just to make sure nobody tries to steal it or lowballs you.

Seriously, I'm sure you've got some sort of price in your head. The market is very slow, right now.

Sorry I know you are new to this forum, but go ahead and read the post about the pre-date southwest feeler. This kind of wording is frustrating to buyers. Also, I would probably have waited until I had pictures to post before starting the thread. Hardly anyone will shoot numbers to you without them.

As I am new here and have not been following the collectable cue market, I'd like to ask the experts what the market would be for this cue. I will post pictures within the next couple of days. Thanks.

What's Your Black Boar Cue Worth?

According to mine and Tony's best judgment (He having 18 years of experience and I having purchased over 40 Black Boar pool cues), For cues in new/good condition:

The older Black Boar cues- 4 point cues with the old logo can range any where from 2k to 7k, depending on their rarity.

The 6 point cues with the new BB logo feature a variety of joints and mostly leather wraps. Heavy knifed-in hardwood points produce a hit to be reckoned with. These cues can range in value from 3k to 10k.

The newer cues, 8 points with pronged butt caps mark a significant turn in engineering and design. Complete with exotic lizard wraps these cues are most collectible and most desirable. Their value ranges from 13k to, well, the sky's the limit.

That is very intresting Dawgie, considering that was exactly my same post word for word about 6 months ago.
I never knew that you had over 40 boars and knew Tony so well.

LOFL.........Too funny.

:) :) :)

What a difference a pair of quotation marks can make......

Looks like you've got some STRONG competition, Craig!!!

The words below were taken from a post above supposedly by me, Dawgie. I didn't copy paste this pot from anybody and I don't know how it was posted under my name. I am at a loss to even try and explain how this happened. I have never owned a Black Boar and have no desire for one. If anyone was/is offended I didn't do this. As far a Tony is concerned I don't know him nor have I ever heard of him. I just don't know how this occured???????????????????????????????????????

That is a completely logical explaination. :D:D:D:D

start a new thread

This is all very engrossing but if you are not interested in purchasing my cue could you just start a new thread because when my total message count changes I have to open this thread up and read it, and I could really care less about who said what when and to who.

Wow.....nice first impression.

Regardless of whether or not you care who says what, and when.......each time somebody posts to your thread, you get bumped to the top of the list....and EVERYBODY else winds up reading it...to include potential buyers.

The thread went off on a tangent when somebody apparently hacked Dawgie's account and quoted Craig Smith, word for word. All it really did was draw more attention to your cue.

I've sold 5 Black Boars on this forum....and each thread went off on a side-track. Those branch-offs ultimately helped me in selling the cues.

Sorry we impeded your forward progress.
