why is this shaft so great? I have paid $200-$250 for a shaft, just very curioius why this is more expensive, this is not a knock of any kind, I just really dont know...

Tony is very, very discerning (some would call it obsessive which isn't a bad thing) in the materials / methods he builds cues with - this includes not only his shafts but even the tips he will use with his cues.

If you ever get a chance stop by his shop - it is an experience you'll never forget.
