Black King Tips

I have played with a BK Medium for over 6 months now while testing the tip before releasing it to the public. It has not mushroomed or moved at all. I have shaped it only once. I scuff it before every league match and that's it.

If you have a good stroke and have no problem drawing your ball with the Moori M then I would say use the BK M. You may find with any tip that the softer you go you can get a little more spin or grip on soft or close shots but if you have to hit a power shot with 6 feet between the cueball and object ball... soft tips absorb some of the impact and you lose some of the spin. IMHO

Maybe, but the best draw I've gotten recently on a table length shot was with a house cue that had an Elkmaster on it.

All of a sudden, Tony jumps in.
So tell us please, who are we dealing with, yourself or Tony?
If its Tony, count me out for a start.

At $18.95, what should my mark up be?
I can buy 2 Mooris for that.

Tony, isn't that a conflict of interest?
Advertising that you are a Kamui Dealer and hyping up another tip.

I guess I might as well stop selling Tiger cues because I am also a dealer for Mezz. As far as I know I don't have a contract of exclusivity with anybody.

Also I don't have a contract of exclusivity with Black King tips, it just happens that I am the first dealer. Any cuemaker, repair person can sign up for an account with King tips.

Probably a good thing that you pretend not to.

Really? If you have something against me start your own thread will you? Don't damage a thread that has nothing to do with me. I don't recall ever sell you anything or owing you any money do I? Never sold you a cue, wrap or tip, but I might be wrong, am I?

Ah, That explains it. A good Elkmaster that has been pressed or worn down will play very good. However, you cannot consider it soft anymore. It will feel and hit like a Medium to Medium Hard. Unfortunately Elkmaster tips have had quite a decline in quality over the last several years. Most of them won't compress and will stay mushy forever. The last box of Elkmaster tips I bought had only 8 good ones and 42 bad ones! I think if you tried a BK Medium you would be happy.

You can buy directly from the Black King website. Once we set up your account you will be given access to the dealer pricing which I am sure you will find to be more than reasonable for the quality of our tips. The retail price of $18.95 is for the player who buys one or two tips per year and takes them to his local cue repairman to have installed. It also sets the pricing so that dealers aren't able to advertise prices below a set minimum advertised price. (MAP) If you are a cuemaker, repairman, dealer or distributor you will have a separate pricing structure as such.
