I need .020" black veneers to make a ringwork billet. Any help finding a source would be appreciated.

How much do you need?

Why not just get the natural popular and use the Sharpie Special Edition : Eddie Wheat pens?

This is a little out of the box thinking but I have done this. You can compress the wood to the wanted thickness. I have used a jewelers roller press for exactly what you are talking about. It is something like what you roll spaghetti with but far more precise. If you are just doing a small amount you can even just press the small pieces in a vice till correct. The wood by the way will recover a bit once glued in and create a very tight fit.

It is also possible to microwave the pieces. It removes the moisture and shrinks the wood down. Again, once glued in they recover in size for a tight fit. You can also do this with wood inlays. You make them a little oversize. Put them in the microwave for a few seconds and they press right in. Once they recover you can't find a gap anywhere you have the best fit you have ever seen.
Just some out of the box thinking.
