Blackjack Christmas Help Needed

Dear Santa

What I would like for Christmas is a really good (my expectation) book on straight pool from the excellent player/teacher/coach David Sapolis "Blackjack".

He said the book was finished and he was giving time for the run on Danny's DVD to have full effect before putting it up for sale. I think most who plan on buying that DVD have already purchased their own copy. I got my mine and that was a really excellent product, thanks again Danny H.

Santa I understand the economy is rough these days so if you can get him to start publishing this book, I will be glad to purchase my own copy.

One more thing Santa, if you can get hold of Danny H and J Schmidt tell them the 14.1 forum on AZ is a pretty low stress forum so they ought to come back, either to post or at least vend their wares if they make anymore DVD's

The book is finished, I am sporadically editing the last of it, sometimes I am avoiding it altogether. This will be the last "book" that I do. Sales for the stuff I have available already have been virtually non-existent - which (in all honesty) zaps my motivation to complete this book. I will not sell the book through this forum, I'll let you know when its completed, don't worry..

Currently, I am in the process of finishing up an audio book entitled "With Each Shot A Victory" - as well as putting together a dvd version of my "Mental Game Mastery" clinic. I have been distracted from completing this book because I see a wider market for my other work.

Add in the fact that since I began this project, there has been some awesome DVD instruction by some of the world's best players (high runs of 322 and 403). Everybody should listen to those guys before they read anything that I have to say about 14.1 - and both have covered the topics I put in this book better than I could, so when it does come out, expect to hear the same stuff I have said in the commentary and the evaluations I have done.

Just the little discussed on this page re the dispersion of the balls on the break already goes into more detail and more precise thinking than I think you will find on those videos.

Thanks for the reply with the tasty samples. I do not have either of the long run DVD's you are talking about so I need to get those but no matter what they have on them I know you will have something different.

I think it is a shame you are not getting any sales on your prior items, I have a copy of the only one I have ever saw for sale. Just to let you know, I would like to own a copy of every other work you have created but the people who own them are not willing to sale so I will have to get lucky. I have quite a pool library but have NEVER seen any of your older work for sale and I watched E-Bay closely for a couple of three years and other locations.

So please, create some product, people will buy it, BTW As I am sure know this forum will not generate lots of sales due to low unique traffic the people here repeat more than anything else. If you could get your stuff printed and available either from AccuStat or BeBob I believe it would sale.

This last year has been a great year for 14.1 knowledge with all of th e great DVD's from JS and DH among others and the posting of the DCC 14.1 and video steaming taking off (thanks TAR).

Get the book done, I want a copy.

Blackjack, will you be selling the book through the same site as your 9-ball book? I bought that, and really like having it on PDF. Much better for me as I live overseas, shipping is expensive and worrisome. Also, I'm always at a computer!
