Before the IPT started, everything Blackjack Dave Sapolis said basically is coming true. Alot of people slammed him for it, it got to the point where he was getting flat out insulted. I think some people owe him an apology.

Yes, Blackjack sounded the early warning alarm. His inital salvo (on another site) was thorough, well researched, and very informative. He got slagged because he put facts before the "rainbows and lollipops" KT was hypnotizing the "positive" people with.
Learn folks. There are such things as objective facts. What you "believe" isn't nearly as important as factual reality. The writing was on the wall, and a neon-lit van was circling the block with a loudspeaker blaring "KT is a liar" -- but the green-eyed monster led many otherwise intelligent people to make some genuinely stupid decisions; to cast their lot in with a known bad seed.
Debrief yourselves, supporters. Something was drastically wrong with your ability to read evidence and make decisions based on facts. Learn from it. Learn to be constructively critical. Recognize a scheister, and steer yourself clear. All you needed to know was presented up front. You just had to learn the hard way....

And believe me, Blackjack is not happy about all of this. He is not that type of person to gloat about him being right all along. I am sure that he is hurt to see pool players getting screwed again, like they have so many times in the past. I haven't seen him posting much, anyone know how he's doing?

KT in arrogance stood on his pedastal, and told the whole pool world, "don't worry, I will take care of you". Most listened and few argued.
I suspect David has a bit of a tear too. He might even smile for a minute here and there, but none of us will ever see that smile.

The IPT were free to do whatever they wished, if they said jump the players didn't have much choice but to say "how high" (if they wanted to continue to play on the IPT of course)

It was too good to be true in my eyes. After the billiard channel fiasco a few years ago I am not easy to fool anymore. I am not a neg person and believe that one day there will be a successful big tour, but Trudeau was not the one for the job.

Over half of the IPT players came out ahead. Show me one tour where that happens.
The WPBA comes close but even there most of the women are just following an impossible dream and are just donating money to Allison and Karen.

The past year has been a very difficult time for him because there was a wedge formed between him and the players by ruthless, heartless people that obviously have no sense of decency. The abuse he received was personally (yes they went there) and professionally damaging, yet I watched him hold his head high every single day and stick to his guns, never budging. I also was a firsthand eyewitness to how this situation broke his heart. It sucked watching that happen to someone I love and care about so much.
It is no secret to the people on this forum that know us personally, but I (along with other close friends) have encouraged David to move away from the "business" of pool and concentrate his efforts elsewhere. I think it is important to communicate that David is not celebrating the downfall of the IPT, and he is not laughing at what the players are experiencing. There are people that would like to think that, but those people don't know who they are talking about. David loves the game of pool, but he feels betrayed from all ends. He is moving forward with starting his own publishing company. He said that he will only teach students locally, which means he will not be posting any of his lessons or input on the forums anymore. I think he made a post about that somewhere not too long ago.
I think it will take a long time for him to regain his passion for pool, I think that died around the same time people trashed his name publicly at the KOH last year in Orlando. The people that didn't stick up for him are just as guilty as the people that went out of their way to attack his credibility. Some of those people post regularly on this forum. They say that tribulations produce perseverence. Believe me, nobody perseveres like David.
