The two greatest 3-cushion players ever will be on US TV this Sunday and again on the 23rd. Here is a press release from Ira Lee who has been helping with the production of the show.

Press Release Summary

Ceulemans vs Blomdahl on AmericaOne Sports this Sunday Jul 9th
and Jul 23rd.

Please forward this information to all of your billiard buddies.
So far, I think this show has the best production quality. It
includes a mini documentary about the event and great interviews
between the two champs.

More info:

This weekend, AmericaOne Sports will air an exciting match
between Raymond Ceulemans, BCA Hall of Famer and Torbjorn
Blomdahl - 10-time World Champion.

There are basically two camps of 3-cushion fans - the Ceulemans
camp and the Blomdahl camp. Each group thinks their player is
the greatest to ever play the game.

Raymond Ceulemans is a Billiard Congress of America Hall of Famer
and a living legend in billiards. He has 58 years of tournament
experience - greater than any other professional billiard player
walking today. Most people agree that he knows more about the
game than anyone. He has been world champion 35 times. He has
dominated the game for decades and has continued to redefine
himself against each new generation of professionals.

Torbjorn Blomdahl has been playing 3-cushion for over 30 years.
He's been the world champion 10 times. His razor sharp game has
taken the professional standard to new heights. He has
everything - knowledge, power, discipline, and an incredible
imagination. Blomdahl needs to defeat his lifelong rival in this
match in order to secure a spot in the finals of this event.

Everyone should ask their cable company to carry AmericaOne
Sports if they don't have it in your area...

I may have to call my local pub to see if they have the AmericaOne Sports channel. Unfortunately pool and especially billiards aren't big spectator sports here in the USA. Personally I think it's one Hell of a lot more interesting than soccer......

I've never heard of AmericaOne Sports. Does comcast cable carry it in the Noth East?

I think it is only in select markets. I also think they do alot of programming in conjunction with college campus t.v. stations. Don' quote me on this cause I really don't know.
