Well, Let's see who gets their copy first.

I ordered from Amazon and I know several ordered from Overstock and some ordered from Bluebook.

Damn I hope there aren't delays or backorders.

Mine is on order with Amazon and had the order in since February a couple of weeks prior to Valley Forge Expo.
If it arrives this week, it will arrive at the same time my new cue arrives...
Too Cool.

I ordered and paid for mine 9 Dec 2003....think it will make it here before the 2 year mark is up?

Amazon says it should arrive by the 8th, we'll see.

But on a side note, I just picked up a "new" second edition on e-bay for $49 and bidding on a first edition (if it stays within reason).

why do you say that?...bluebookinc hasn't changed their website statement

I don't know about bluebookinc, this is what Amazon tells me when I check on the status of my order:

"Delivery estimate: November 8, 2005"

Hey, you're lucky - mine says January 10, 2006!

Thats what they told me as well, but you know, I don't believe everything I read. I am guessing I will get around the end of the month and anything earlier will be a nice surprise.

Bs

We'll be lucky if we get it by next summer. I have been paid for 6 months and they have pushed the date twice since then.

Yeah, don't hold your breath. When I cancelled "the Blue Book of Pool" from my Amazon order a moment ago, the delivery date shifted from January to next week. This isn't a book we're going to see any time soon.

The book is printed and in the warehouse. I cancelled an order with Amazon (Jan 6 estimated delivery) and ordered thru the publisher after contacting them. I'm looking forward to seeing this, not owning either previous edition...also should keep me from asking so many ignorant questions :)

There is an e-bay listing for signed copies as well.

I went to amazon to order and the estimate delivery was Jan of 06. This was this week. The ebay websites are up but you can order directly and pay via paypal at www.cuebook.com. I bid on the auction and then realized that the auction would not end for 9 days. I emailed Brad and he said to just order through the website and we could sort out the ebay auction later. Fast emailer. and it seems pretty seamless.

You can specify whether you want your copy signed or not. The main difference is the wait on amazon and the free shipping. Via the direct website there is an $8 shipping fee. For a 1000 page book it is seems fair enough- and you get direct service and get to support the editor/author direct.
