Hello all:

I have a four point Robert Harris cue, but I don't know very much about him.

A web search doesn't reveal too much.

Can anyone enlighten me as to the materials he generally uses. I believe Juma for the joint.

Its a very nice cue with a leather wrap and has a nice feel.

He is not in the blue book either so I am not sure of values.

I'll post some pictures later,
.

Thanks for any and all assistance.

Dave

I think of him as being a pretty new maker, but he looks like he does very clean work from what I've seen. As to playability, ya got me.

Rob Harris?

Do you mean Rob Harris in Florida, Harris Custom Cues? If so he is not new and he builds a incredible cue for the money. This is his 25th Aniv year of cue building.

Robert Harris

You are right Shooter:

Robert Harris sent me a PM. It is a Robert Harris cue from the Harris Cue Company out of Florida.

I will try to get more details from him

Thanks

Dave

Rob is a great guy and excellent cue builder, I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get a lot of cue for their money. To be quite honest I have no idea why he does not command more attention with his amazing point work and inlays. We had a couple of Robs cues in stock, Larry Nevel wanted them both but we couldn't come to a trade agreement so he got one and the other was just sold recently. From my limited conversations with Rob if he wasn't such a great cue builder I think he could be a comedian. He had me almost falling out of my chair the last time I talked to him.

Harris Cues

I've had these 2 since 2013
Robert has a new taper available with some help from Larry.

These are available for purchase.

I'd be interested in well as hearing from anyone else who plays with one of his cues or is familiar with it, what it might be comparable to etc. I saw some of his cues in the FS section, beautiful work and surprised I never heard of him?
