Bobby Hunter

Bobby Hunter is a talented cuemaker. He has built cues for established pros including Tony T-Rex Chohan and John Schmidt. (Schmidt won the US open with a Hunter cue). I've seen his work up close and it is impressive! We all know his game is world class, but as a cuemaker, he deserves high recognition too. I found his contact data in the Blue Book of Cue Values 3rd Edition. I hope this helps.

Honorable mention should go to both Jimmy Mataya and George Middleditch.

i bought a Stroud cue from Bobby before he built cues. my friend who is a shortstop or better has played with a hunter cue since he started building cues and they are great friends, bobby is a great guy and as a player he has alot of heart i watched him in kinda big action on his own $$$ in Sac in the later 80's.
 
I have frequent contact with Bobby. His address in Carson City is not good anymore as he is now in Chicago with Joe Gold. His email address will still work. Try it. If you don't get a response let me know an I will give him a call.

I am pretty sure that Bob went to school with Doug. (at least for a little while.)


I used to know Harold's whole family. made a few off his brother Carl. his dad used to run a golden 8-ball upstairs from Meijers on Plainfield.

I'll find out the info you are looking for on both if you don't get it sooner from someone else.
