I like Bocote and I like Sneaky Petes. Here are my two Bocote Sneaky petes. One is a Tim Scruggs with piloted 5/16x14 and the other is a brand new Chad McLennan CAM cue. I just wanted to show you guys the great work of Chad. I really liked his work on the joint protectors so I ordered a cue. I was not disappointed. The cue has a solid hit and is well balanced. Enjoy all you sneaky lovers!

Very nice! I have the exact same bacote TS Sneaky. One of the very best hitters I've ever played. Rock solid. What'dya think the market price is on that model now in great condition?

Yah it is the best hitting cue I have ever played with. Right now I'd say is worth about 500 but most people would not pay over 4XX for it. I paid 550 for mines with a 1x2 George by Brunswick case on ebay a while back. To me it was well worth the money..

TS Bacote

I've got an older one like yours and you couldn't get me to sell it for $550 without a case  :D

Bacote on the right -- I must agree....it's one of the best hitting cues I have for sure ;)

And it's mine now!!! ;) :D

Hmmm....
True sneaky petes' don't have collars (or butt caps).
I also feel that they should be rated not only on their playability, but on there 'sneakiness', too (how well the shaft matches the butt and how non-discernible the joint line is). Granted these are nice cues, but, I think there should be another classification for the type represented here (maybe, Plain Jane).

Who cares what you call em, they work. I have had quite a few people ask me why I dont have my own cue, while I was playing with my bocote sneaky (pic in my sig.)

Nobody gets fooled by them anymore.
In fact, those who play with cutdown housecues scare people away.
If you want a true sneaky pete now, grab one of those Marlboro or Camel cues. Have it worked-up.

Don't sell the hustler. That design is getting rarer by the second. It has a different hit then the no collar ones. I have considered selling but backed out and I'm glad I did back out.

Nice Bacote cues

I like Bacote cues too. They make a fine pete. Right now I'm playing with a birdseye and mine could be looking for a new home. Paul Rubino 3/8 x 10 with patriot rings at butt cap.
