ok this is it. race to 30. bar table 9ball. playing for an undetermined amount as of yet. anybody want in? come to des moines and big dog billiards on friday the 28th of sept.

these two have confirmed to play a challenge match. details are still a little vague, but sound exciting.

the next day I am running an acs tourney with 1000 added and is handicapped. A+, a, b, and c. races to 7-6-5-4. should be great as I had 60 for the same format in may of this year.

Pool and Stuff

Dang, I might see if I can swing over for that. Is that Iowa Steakhouse right by there still open? Best ribeye the size of my head I've ever had. I asked for a pepsi and they brough me a pitcher, it's like they knew me;)

oh yeah, the Iowa Beef Steakhouse is still near by. Good food and reasonable too. You should come over and play.

Just to let everybody know, women and kids under 14 get into the tourney for 15 bucks.

Thats Jesse right?

Even though he just smashed up Corey and on paper is the logical choice, I just can't go against my boy. Good luck Bowman. You are going to need it.

Any idea what time it is supposed to start? Is there any sort of seating to watch? Is there an admission fee?

I will probably be there, and bringing up my son to play. If you want some company let me know and we can meet up and eat a steak, I have not yet eaten at the Iowa steakhouse.

A race to 30 on a BB with those two players might finish up in about 3 hours; unless they get into protracted safety battles, which is unlikely. So they'll probably play multiple sets. The outcome will undoubtedly hinge upon which player can string together the most racks. It'll depend upon the equipment.

Can you post the name of the pool hall, when they plan on starting and the address?
A couple of us guys from St. Louis might try and head up there to sweat it and play the tournament...

big dogs has a private room that has 8-10 tables that we think we are doing the match in. the admission charge would be 5 or 10 bucks. details should be finalized by Saturday of this week.

If I can make it I'll let you know. It sounds like it's going to be a fun time.

JESSE OR JAIMIE BOWMAN ? If Jesse it would be a grind match no blowout there Jaimie would need major weight playing Shane. I like Jesse after that loss he took in 8 ball on a bar table in Vegas 13 to 1 13 to 9 to Shane he will be hungry and want to show why for last 7 to 10 years he has been one of the most fear bb players in the US.

Big Dog Billiards:515-262-6523 2200 E Euclid Ave Des Moines, IA 50317, US

the challenge match will start about 7/ details to be firmed up this weekend.

if you guys are coming to play in the tourney, I'll just let you know. 85% of the players are b players. give me a call to discuss our handicaps.

I would think anyone who is looking to get down on Shane will have to give up games or odds.

maybe 8to5 on the money or 5 games on the wire?

I dunno...

Jamie is a whole lot stronger than he gets credit for, (unless you have played him). Then you know.

Jamie, You were there the night Banks Jr. Played the roadie on the way back from omaha/lincoln.

Which Jamie

Which Jamie are you talking about jwilliams? I think they were asking about Jesse's brother Jamie. Are you thinking about Jamie Martin? He is down at the Lake of the Ozarks.
