I think it's in another 8-10 hours Dave. 8pm Saturday.

I feel like I'm missing something. What time does this match start? I thought 8pm est no?
Any info would be great.
Thanks,

Due to circumstances out of our control the Bowman/SVB is no longer going to happen.
What happened to this match?
More like 24 hours John.
If any of you are interested. I just talked to the Bowmans and the match will be played without gimick racks. They are racking for each other with a wood rack.
You were right - I was somehow screwed up on the CHina/USA time difference - brain cells disappearing quickly.
Now seems to be off permanently.
Another reason ACCU-STATS and TAR are the gold standard in the streaming match-up industry. When they advertise a match it happens.
That's the way it goes I guess. Bummer, would have been good I think.
This is not the streamer's fault so that isn't really a fair statement.
I understand this. And the price was unbeatable - free.
Still, when TAR or AccuStats makes a poster then the match happens. I assume that both of them have the money posted to insure that the players show up and play. Rules are worked out in advance.
I am certain that the streamer and promoter is sick that it's not going off. Us Jesse fans are not happy either. :-(
Maybe next time.
no money to post with TAR ... it is pay to play with Bonus money for win... that is the reason the matches go off...
That's the way it is now but in the first 20+ matches it was ACTION with $10,000 bet and posted.
Anyway the larger point is that when TAR advertises a match then it happens.
Yes I know (watched most, own almost all of them) and to get their first 20 on tape about 100 "almost" matches.. "nearly" happened...
.. as a TAR PPV I can't remember an advertised match being flat out cancelled but A LOT of "free" DCC action that was "going to go down tomorrow night..." did not take place (backer issues) but to imply that TAR has always been pure as Caesar's wife is pushing it... all streamer's are at the mercy of the gambler when it is not a "staged" event for a PPV audience.
My understanding is that this was not "staged" for streaming but "we" were going to be lucky to see something that was going to happen... it didn't... Just like hanging out at the pool room... sometimes they will, sometimes they wouldn't...![]()
When TAR has made a poster and advertised a match then it's happened. When at the DCC in the action room then yes there have been rumored matches that didn't go off. But those were matches that TAR was very clear to say were just speculation and may or may not happen.
Again, and I welcome correction from Justin or OldZilla, when AccuStats or TAR has advertised a match complete with "flyer" for days/weeks before it is scheduled then it has always gone off on schedule.
I am not mad here just in case anyone thinks I am. No big deal to me to see one more pool match or not. Was just commenting on the advertising/reliability comparison. When I see TAR or AccuStats logo on something then I am 100% positive that if I block out some time to sit down and watch it then it's going to be on. And Big Truck and POV are pretty reliable as well in that area.
Again though, I am not bugged by it, things happen. No biggie.
And for the record TAR is PURE. ;-)
