Rick, Jr. lost to Fran Zumo first round. (Frank Zummo??)
Rick, Sr. won the first round and lost to Mark Ritter second round.
Rick, Jr. beat Rick Sr. on the losers side.

Mohl won his first two games and is playing Mark Ritter soon.

Mark Ritter is from Detroit and was out at the Worlds a few years back.

Mohl lost to Ritter and is on the loser's side.

Ricky won his next one on the losers's side.

Thanks for the updates and info Dennis.

Looks like you got 13 players... were you able to finish today? If not, how many are you bringing back on the second day?

I'm holding the qualifier in Tempe (Phoenix), AZ. I'm hoping we get at least 12 to 13 players as well.

Thanks,
Ray

Big Cat: This is not our qualifier. Some guys I know drove to Cleveland and were texting and emailing me updates. They did however finish late last night. I am not sure what time because my friends got knocked out and were in no mood to keep up with the updates.

In the past, at Red Shoes, we get it done in one night. We had 13 last year. The winners side and the losers side do not have to play their game since the top two go.

I heard that Pete beat both Michalec, Jr. and Mohl on the loser's side. He must be Mr. Hull. I think Zummo had knocked Pete to the loser's side.

Just spoke with Joe Toth at Continuous Play in Cleveland. Big Straight Pool fan. Plans to make the qualifier a yearly event.

Anyway, it appears that after Pete Hull got knocked to the loser's side by Zumo, Pete beat everyone up over there, including Zumo, after Mark Ritter knocked Zumo to the loser's side.

Mark Ritter and Pete Hull qualified.
