quesitons

Hey JMurphy,
I have friend (you may know him) Tony Torres he is the GM of Hard Times Sacramento, and Bellflower/Great american before that. He would like to purchase this cue immediately but would like to be able to hit a ball or two before hand. Is this cue one of Ariel's continuos core cues? I have the same cue in diff woods, perhaps I could send him mine? or maybe we could do an escrow? He does not have an AZ account so he asked me to get in touch with you. please let me know your thoughts.

Sincerely,

Michael Spinola

P.S. too bad I didn't see this a few days ago he just came back from LV on Tue LOL

Michael,
Thanks for the interest.
I am not exactly sure what continuous core is..LOL
But I can tell you that it has an Ebony Forearm however when you look down at the joint pin you can see that it is not Ebony therefore the Ebony Forearm is sleeved over another type of wood.
As far as hitting with the cue I have no problem with that. What I have done in the past is the buyer pays for the cue, I ship it to him/her and give them 48 hours to go hit the cue. If for some reason they don't want the cue just let me know with in 48 hours and then ship it back to me the following day or two, once I have received the Cue back in the same condition as it was sent to them I will issue a full refund no problem.

Thanks,
Jim Murphy

I'm not trying to be a nit-picker or anything as this is a beautiful cue at a fair asking price, but it IS advertised as "never chalked" and I'm sorry but it appears from the pics that the tips on BOTH shafts have what appear to be chalk residue on them (Masters green). Is there a reasonable explanation for this???

This cue has never been played or even test hit the tips pick up residual chalk off the bottom of my case.
These are Triangle tips I believe and have a lot of nap:thumbup:
