Red dot shaft?

no mine Really is from the early 90's. if your has a red dot it can't be any older than 99 when they came out.

Actually, I saw the Meucci Red Dot shaft on cues in the EARLY nineties. You might owe Jay a minor apology.

then scroll down to the part about red dots

Nice looking cue, and decent price for being unused

However.....I've got to say, I have a red dot shaft sitting in my case right now (just went and double checked, there is a nice bold red dot). I was there in the pool hall when a friend of mine bought this in the late-mid 90's....I think it was in 96, but definitely no later than 97. We were just talking about it last week when I picked it up from him to replace the tip. He remembered exactly how old he was when he bought it, and I know I was still in school at the time.

It absolutely was not 99, because I had moved out of the area by then and he had had it for quite a while before I moved.....guess even manufacturers are subject to human error?

Just hoping to help clear up some mystery, best of luck with your sale
