brand new older Varney j/b

Varney Cues

Handcrafted quality!
Silver Member
SOLD!
Here is a cue I made back in 2000. I recently took it in trade on a new pair. The cue was kept in good condition so I decided it was a great choice for a rebuild. I stripped it down & started from scratch. This cue received new everything...new shaft, new wrap, new finish. So its absolutely the same as a brand new cue. Its straight apart & together. The cue weighs 18.5oz. It features dual 3/8-10 pins, Irish linen wrap, canvas resin tip/ferrule. This cue sells new for $375 plus add $50 for the linen wrap. I will offer the cue for $375 shipped Priority. Thats getting free shipping & a free linen wrap. This cue performs absolutely wonderful as I have tested it out as I do all my cues. Cashiers check, money order or Paypal. Thanks for looking & everyone have a great weekend!:)

How does it hit compared to your new cues? I sent you a PM Kevin... what a beauty!

It actually hits like a steel pole. This is an older blank I used back then & its cut a little different...its slightly fatter in the forearm making in just a bit extra stiff. I used it for a couple of days & it breaks/jumps as well as any of my cues. This one won't last long. ;)

What is the ferrule, one piece phenolic? What do you use now, I noticed the "ugly stick had a hard tip.
Thanks
This cue has the 1pc canvas-resin tip/ferrule combo. Its as hard as phenolic but much more durable & holds chalk well. Its the same material as the tip on the G10 ferrule you saw on the "ugly" cue. On my j/b cues I offer the canvas-resin two ways...the 1pc version pictured or with the tip threaded into an unbreakable ferrule. Either way performs the same...just some players prefer the white ferrule.;)

OMG.. I didn't break my arm, but the rack is running and hiding when I bring this cue out. I will be posting a detailed description of my experience, but based on the first 10 breaks.... WOW....
