You are right, Barbara. The pics don't show the cue very well. Better send it to me to take some better pictures. It should only take me a few years to get it back to you.
My response was directed to the statement made by 96supersport, and I included that quote in my post.
In his post, he did not mention the name of a particular cue maker, but he did indicate he could get the cue for half the price.
I don't think my statement was out of line, when taken in context.
For those who have not had the priviledge, I have seen Barbara's cue, up close and personal. These pictures definitely do not do it justice. That cue is absolutely beautiful and the craftmanship is flawless.
I also want to clarify my statement about "design theft".
Although I don't believe there is a case for design theft, between Barbara's cue and the other cue in this thread, that in no way should reflect how I feel about Barbara's cue. I happen to love the look of that cue, as I love many cues that have a classic look to them.
Some day, when Barbara gets tired of that cue, maybe she will throw it, in my direction.
