Hello Everyone,
Here are two that I would love to keep in my possession but am going to offer them for sale. Both hit great, Gilbert hits stiff with great reaction and the Howard is similar but a very stiff player.
First is a 6 point Andy Gilbert cue with a segmented amboyna burl handle. The forearm is ebony into ebony points (3 hi 3 low) with burgandy, blue, gray veneers. The handle is a segmented burl handle with lots of detail. The buttsleeve is ebony with a southwest style .5 inch piece of burl behind the ebony as well. The cue has a,b,c,d,e,f rings also southwest style matching the veneers on the points. The cue weighs 19.65 oz and is 58 inches long, 2 13 mm shafts, triangle tips, wood to wood joint 3/8 10 pin. Price is $1200 firm shipped and insured within the US.
Second is a 6 point Rick Howard cue with a maple handle. The forearm is be maple with alternating points of ebony and cocobolo (3 hi 3 low). The handle is be maple with an ebony buttsleeve. There is a small piece of cocobolo that you usually see cuemakers put on the buttcap but this one is after the d ring (very interesting). The cue has a,b,c,d,e rings southwest style with maple, cocobolo, ebony. The cue weighs 19.75 oz and is 58 inches long, 2 13 mm shafts, 1 triangle, 1 moori tip, wood to wood joint 3/8 11 pin. Price is $1050 shipped and insured within the US.
Pm with any questions that you may have for these cues. Thanks for looking, Trav D.
