I said that I would post pics of any cues that I made or started using those old A.E. Schmit Brazilian Rosewood Blanks I had gotten and sold some time ago.
This is the first one I've started, I did use a little bit of the wood in my personal player with the M.O.P. dots.
The Nodal point of the butt is located where I positioned the ring set.
These blanks had great tone to them and I wanted to leave it as undisturbed as possible, when struck this butt is producing a long sustaining note in the key of "G"
This is just the start and more pics will come. I'll leave you all guessing as to which way the build is going..........but I have something watermelon red to match the rings with......hummmm wonder what that would be??????????????
This wood has massive figure. When the cue is complete I'm going to take it to my aunt who takes professional pics to get a good set of photos of its unique figure.
