Break cue tip, leather or phenolic

What kind of tip are you using on your break cue?

Breaking with phenolic right now... as to the why, cause it's a jump/break and it makes jumping much better. But five nights out of six I end up breaking with a house cue cause I have no control on the break with the lousy phenolic tip, so while I'll get great spreads, I won't sink anything and lord knows where the cue ball ends up.

Have your cueman flatten the tip so its almost totally flat. This will give you no english & allow you to park your cueball and solve your problem. Many with phen tips have the radius way too round...and like you said....impossible to control the cueball. ;)
