Break/Jump Cues

J&J owner

The best value in Jump/Break Cue. I took off the phenolic tip and put on a hard water buffalo (talisman bk) tip and I now use this stick on league nights as a breaker and a shooter. and...I can unscrew the butt for the tight corners....and...if it gets beat up or stolen, no big deal.

Have you tried of a J&J Kaiser or Panther? I believe they have a thicker taper and $5 more
 
I just got my first J/B cue last saturday from KoinnKid, and I am very pleased with it. jj jump break with a phenolic tip that jumps better than I can, lol. I guess if I was real serious and practiced jumping all day, I might be able to tell a difference between mine and a more expensive one, but I dont plan on jumping unless I absolutely have to.
 
hey...I have a lightning jump break cue for 100 bucks shipped if anyone is interested. It has some marks on it from use.

Really that unimpressed with the J&J j/b? i tried an azmembers (sugeknight's) and was so impressed i bought a buddy of mine one for christmas. i break just as well with that as i do my Gilbert j/b. well i get a little better control with the gilbert and it feels a little better but as far as results go they were about the same. i jump easier with the j&j but i can control the shot better with the gilbert. i think they're a great value
 
IMHO

If you ever have a chance to try a J/B, believe me my friends:
the Bear TNT (well, actually Falcon TNT at the states) is the cue.
(I had Fury, Stinger, Cuetec, J&J, BK2, and tried several others, like Gullyassy's Sledgehmmer).
 
im not saying the J&J is the best, and i WISH i could afford a $300 cue...

just sayin if you want a cheap way in, they are better than most taht cost 2 times as much.. i just wanted a little more solid break, and to save life on my Schon..

for what i wanted, i think its great
 
Any last thoughts?

I am heading to leagues tonight, and will have several guys there that have inventory of different equipment. My choices I have narrowed it down to are Poison VX 2.9, J&J J/B, Predator BK2, or a standard butt with break shaft and a G10/Super Pro combo. Thanks again to all the posters I really appreciate the communities knowledge and input, it makes the decision a little easier knowing that the equipment is being used and supported.
 
Poison J/B! AMAZING!!

I prefer jumping with that, instead of the crap called predator air. Says a bit.
Very cool design and the grip is very absorbing.
 
Spend $60 on a J&J J/B add about $20 to your $300 budget and get yourself a breakrak, just a thought. :D

This was my first jump/break cue. Don't recommend it. J&J is a great cue, as has been noted, especially for the price.
