Break with your fancy playing cue..?

You could. But it will destroy your "playing" tip...pack it and make it very hard, and basically put a lot of stress on your cue. Too many break cue options...including house cues...to put that kind of stress on my playing cue. Plus everytime you break hard...and bend your shaft, you are breaking down the wood fibre of your shaft making it less, and less stiff.
If you don't care about your playing cue...or are going to sell it and don't plan on keeping it long...go right ahead. If you treasure your cue...treat it a little better. You don't see Johnny, Manalo, and other pros break with their cue do you...I don't think so. The only time I remember seeing a pro player break with the cue he played with was Corey...using the now illegal soft break.

your fancy playing cue can be broken with,,,but why would you take the chance. plus the cue was made to play with not to break with. think of breaking as a specialty, and you need a cue that will help you break better,,,,like a golfer uses a driver to tee off or a wedge or a putter.
