Breakers in Houston??

I realize that I live under a rock and I need to get out more. Today I felt like getting out of the house and hitting balls in some of my favorite rooms. After playing at Legends I was going to Breakers to hit some balls and discovered that it has closed down.

What happened?

At one time this was one of the better action rooms in the Houston area.

I did a thread search to see if something has already been posted regarding breakers with no success. If this topic has already been covered I apologize.

I heard the news about a month ago. I'm not sure how long ago it closed, but I know it's been a while.

I assume the economy and a lack of paying customers had something to do with it.

I played in their Monday 9-ball league for several seasons and even went to Las Vegas a few times for the BCA.

Met Charlie B, Corey, and Gabe there.

One more players hall bites the dust. :frown:
