BREAKING NEWS: IPT Announces 150 Players

I'm sure it's especially exciting for the 150 who "got in". Can I pick a few of them to play for their spots? ;)
A few? Your being too kind. I would like to play more than a "few."
Oh well...guess we'll just have to qualify for next year!

It isn't $899 anymore. Basically, players were supposed to submit an application and then KT, Mike Sigel, and company hand picked the 150.

I think I may be more dissapointed than you Jimmy. I was hoping to see at least one Arizona player on that list...

I am curious what name you applied under????????????????????????????????????(using some of my endless supply)
I would have thought Jimmy M. would have been poplular enough to get on that list.......especially in the Western Region...

I guess every selection system would be flawed in some way...Its too bad...

In my opinion they have not started with the top 150 in the world based on that list...

Some of the players on the list are obvious selections, but with the kind of money that is going to be available and the hopefull success and dedication to top play that this tour is trying to instill, you would have thought they would have at least had a qualifier for the non obvious that put up the $900.00 up front.

Wow! I am so excited!!!!

I would have tried applying if I knew that Linda Carter could make it! Good luck to all that got in, and boy I hope this gets us closer to where we need pool to be!!!

I was happy to get in as well. Aaron Czetli

I've gotta say that at the U.S. Open, a short week ago, EVERYBODY was talking about the IPT, trying to gain any and all information from those in attendance. About 20 people came up to me and said, "What have you heard about the IPT?," hoping to find out something new.

There was a complimentary computer at the Holiday Inn, the host hotel for the U.S. Open, and there were MANY players taking advantage of it, sending in their applications to the IPT via their website. The deadline for the applications was September 30th.

Does anyone think the WPBA will have a problem with the ladies if they decide to go to the IPT events?

That's funny, who put that fake list up there? Let's see, Montal, Morris, Morris, Murphy, nope, can't be right. No Morton? No Mendoza? C'mon people, don't play with my emotions like that. :D

Great news ...

It was an interesting blend of members accepted. I was glad
to see a decent sprinkling of the WPBA members. You know
they all will be playing their top game in these events, and
the intensity and pressure will be immense.

All eyes of the Pool World will be on this first (true) competition.
It is shaping up to be as exciting as the US Open, only with more money ... lol

Apparently not, cause he plays better than you. :D ;)

Yes, but since he's not aloud to play in his own tournament, I have won the friday night fiddlestix's race to 1 bar box 8 ball tournament more times than he has. So, that must mean I'm the better 8 ball player (on paper).
