paterno isnt the criminal here. accusations were made and he kept it internal and passed the info on to his superiors. this is the reason he isnt being indicted. he shouldnt of been fired. he is definiteky being persacuted and he will not be prosecuted. the two are not one in the same.

The duty of care he owed to the matter was not met. That is criminal. Trust me, any and all prosecutorial options are on the table.

I am thinking we will find the University is still 'investigating' the matter.

A few people just chimed in on how stupid it was for the OP to even have posted this extremely lame attempt at humor in the first place. That's it.. this thread isn't about discussing the the specifics of the case. I'm sure that's being discussed over in the NPR group.
