I'm wondering what the breakdown is between the main kinds of bridges.

What if you use open like 2/3 or 3/4 of the time and closed the rest? :x

I like to think I use the type of bridge that is appropriate for the shot.

I"ll use a closed bridge if shooting hard or if my hand is in a position where the open bridge is uncomfortable or not steady. I'll use a short bridge for improved accuracy and stability most of the time but a long bridge when using bhe or if I need a powerfull stroke. There is no one answer. It depends on the shot.

I use a closed bridge a mojority of the time. I also bridge probally 8-12 inches. I use a long stroke compared to a lot of players.
