Skyline is a geat hall IMO.

Pockets (Gotham City) is ok i guess. Last time i went, the tables were being checked out and repaired. Sucks when i get stuck in the back with a large group of bangers nearby.

Ive only been to Brownstone once (3-4 years ago?) and its basically what people have described. I remember the house cues near my table were horrible. I remember the prices was pretty high for just one person to go practice for a few hours.

About 4 years ago I was very close to signing a lease for a space that couold have held 7 tables and a small food/drink area. It was in South Williamsburg, on Broadway 1 blk from Luger's. I figured If I kept it real nice I could get a decen t crowd that would'nt mind paying high prices and then run specials for poolplayers.
well anyway the landlord turned me down at the last minute, he told me straight out that Northfork bank had just offered him 5 times what I was willing to pay.
It's a shame someone doesn't open a nice room somewhere in BKLYN. Don't get me wrong, Masters is cool and all but the lighting is harsh and the tables are too close together. Everywhere else seems set up for teenagers and bangers.

Is Spin City still around? That was a nice room in Queens as well. It was no Master, but it still had a decent tight table or two, and the house pro, Brian Yi, was good action.

Masters is nice and it's 24 hours. The one thing I can't stand is that Boxing Machine. It's where people punch this bag and it'll give you a score based on how hard you hit it...ugh. Talk about annoying.

Brooklyn could use a nice room. It doesn't have to be the quality of ABC but maybe a step up from Brownstone and Park Slope.

Who ?????? lol. theres only one brooklyn crew that goes to masters haha.
The brooklyn crew that goes to Masters, from what I've been told and when I've asked while I was there, were supposedly from Brownstone Billiards--Brooklyn Mike, Chris, Kevin (I think) and I can't remember the names of others.
